When you submit a lodgement to us you will receive a confirmation email stating that the lodgement has been received by our processing team. Our processing team then arrange lodgement of your submission with the ATO. Processing times for each type of lodgement are outlined below.
ABN & GST
Generally, an ABN and/or GST lodgement will take 1 - 3 business days to be processed by our team. Sometimes this can take a little longer if there are issues on the ATO end with the lodgement or if the information you have provided in your Airtax submission does not agree with your ATO profile. In this case we would be in touch via email to notify you of any delays.
Each BAS lodgement will generally take 1 - 3 business days to be processed by our team. Similar to the ABN/GST lodgements there can, at times, be delays on the ATO end or delays if information provided does not match correctly with your ATO profile. In this case we would be in touch via email to clarify the information with you or notify you of any delays.
Income Tax Return
Income tax returns can take a little longer than other lodgements as they are more complex and at times our processing team may have queries they need to clarify with you before we can arrange lodgement. Currently it generally takes 1 - 2 weeks for an income tax return to be finalised depending on the level of complexity.
If you do not receive a confirmation email stating that the lodgement has been received by our processing team, please check your dashboard to ensure the lodgement is marked as 'paid'. If it is not, you will need to go back into the lodgement and submit it to us before we can arrange lodgement with the ATO.
Once you have done this our processing team will work with the ATO to arrange lodgement of your submission and the above processing times will apply.
