How much does Airtax charge?
As a Square merchant your first BAS is free. After that we charge:
$49 for BAS
$99 for income tax return.
$99 for Business Assist to speak to a PwC accountant.
Free BAS if you have $0 income.
How does the import work?
Airtax integrates with Square directly via secure API to fetch your payment and processing fees. Airtax automatically imports the information in the correct BAS for you.
How do I connect my data?
When you sign up to Airtax and start your BAS you will be prompted to connect to your Square account. You only have to do this once and then you’re always connected. You can update your payments (and processing fees) information at the click of a button in Airtax.
What data is imported to Airtax?
Airtax imports your merchant payments and processing fees for the BAS period you’re completing lodgement for.
Why do you ask me to confirm if my Square income contains GST?
Airtax needs to know this so we can support you to complete your BAS properly. If all your income contains GST, then we simply import your Square income into your BAS and you don't need to edit the income figure. However if not all of your Square income contains GST, we will still import your Square income into your BAS, but we will ask you to edit this number to remove any income that does not contain GST. You can only report GST inclusive income in your BAS.
How do I know the data is correct?
Airtax is designed by PwC accountants and a team of web specialists who know where your data needs to go for you to complete your taxes properly and easily. This means your data always goes into the right place. Airtax has undergone rigorous testing on all data connection points. We also have built in checks to make sure your data is imported correctly.
Do I need to connect my account every time I do my tax?
No, you only have to connect your account, and then you’ll always be connected.
